BUSMVA holds annual reunions, generally during the summer/early autumn months. The potential sites are investigated, researched, and selected by the Reunion Director, generally two years in advance.
Reunions come to the individual member! As our membership is scattered throughout the U.S., with a few in Europe, BUSMVA selects reunion venues on a rotating geographical basis. For example:
Each reunion is a little different based on the venue, tourist offerings, and other criteria. However, each reunion attempts to be consistent due to years of experience and input from our members:
The Welcome and Farewell dinners take advantage of the hotel’s culinary talents; two entrees are normally offered with presentations and announcements made throughout. Military attendees are encouraged to either wear an appropriate uniform for a festive gathering, or civilian attire with miniature medals. Civilian attendees are similarly encouraged to take the opportunity to dress up a little after a day of golf, touring, or shopping.
As you can see, BUSMVA returns to Berlin every four years to see how the city has changed, but still recognizable. Come join us!
