It’s only on line for a few days but if you get a chance to see the film Three Day Pass (1968) I recommend it. A restoration of the original brings out the cinematography and the vintage music comes through in good fidelity. Anyone who went on leave or a three-day pass to France will recognize situations that the young corporal experiences, including a double plot twist at the end. Added to the generic situations are the experiences and feelings of Black GI’s of the time.
