Not really. Donald. WordPress is the infrastructure that effectively shields duffers like me from the vagaries of HTML, which is a computer language that I don’t know and don’t WANT to know.
Wordpress, and its many so-called “plug-ins” permit us to do things on the Internet that wouldn’t have been possible without severe expense and challenge 10 or more years ago.
Please note for all reading this – I am NOT a web developer. I don’t know HTML and I don’t really know CSS, which is a WordPress-specified set of codes that can tweak things far beyond my meager capabilities.
My main focus was to provide more modern capabilities to the BUSMVA membership without ridiculous costs, which is what we were paying for. It means a learning curve and adjustment, but as we are all reasonably intelligent human beings, we’ll be fine in time.
I am honored to be able to present this more up-to-date package, which wasn’t here on 1 Jan 19.
We will no doubt have more hiccups and more issues. But I stand ready to serve you and help you work through the system.
