If you served as a member of the U.S. Armed Forces in Berlin from 1945-1994, your experience, viewpoints, and stories are valuable. BUSMVA seeks to preserve your legacy and the sacrifice you made in keeping Berlin – the undeniable focal point of the Cold War – and the rest of Western democracy – free. Our group is finite, with the total eligible membership being limited. That is why you are valuable and unique. If you served in Berlin during these dates and you were honorably discharged, please join us.
We aim to provide personal service and contact. Please complete the online application below. You can submit application through the website or print, scan and email or print and mail to the Membership Director at address below. You will receive an email from the Membership Director with all information needed to complete the membership application process. The email will include information on how to pay your dues as well as a request for something that verifies you were assigned to Berlin: DD 214, Orders, Certificates, Photos, Personal testimony, etc.
Email or mail in your application with DD214 ( if available) or other documentation. You will receive a personal email message with instructions from our Membership Director for completion of the application process and payment options (check, PayPal or Zelle) for annual membership dues of $35.
