For those eligible members who cannot attend the upcoming reunion in Columbus, GA, yet still want to vote in the election, your absentee ballot is in the mail.
There have been a few changes to the announcements made earlier this year. Your Observer has all the details.
However, we still do not have a candidate to join the Board as Sales Director. That said, these are the announced candidates:
For President – Vern Gibson, the incumbent, is running. Challenging him is the current Membership Director, Jerry Bryson, who announced he will step down in that role to run.
For Reunion Director – Berry Williams, the incumbent, is running. He is the only candidate.
For Membership Director – Jerry Bryson chose not to re-run for this office that he’s held since 2007. Douglas Brockway announced his candidacy and he is the only candidate.
For Director of Sales – Joe Morrison announced his retirement from this position. No one has announced an interest in running for this vital position.
